Abstract

Rhabdoib Meningioma (Case Report)
Meningiomas arise from the meningothelial cells of the arachnoid. Intracranial meningiomas account for 20 % of all symptomatic primary brain tumors. The rhabdoid transformation of meningioma was firstly described by Kepes et al. Here we present a rhabdoid meningioma and discuss in the light of the literature.



Meningiomalar araknoiddeki meningotelyal hücrelerden kaynaklanırlar. İntrakranial menin-giomalar semptomatik primer beyin tümörlerinin tümörlerin yaklaşık %20'sini oluştururlar. Meningiomda rabdoid dönüşüm ilk kez Kepes ve arkadaşları tarafından tanımlanmıştır. Biz bir rabdoid meningioma olgusunu literatür ışığında tartışıyoruz.
