Abstract

Rhinolith is a rare mineralized mass located in the nose. A rhinolith can be asymptomatic for many years and can be detected by chance during a routine examination. Unilateral nasal congestion and nasal discharge are the most common symptoms. Rhinolite cases are often followed as chronic sinusitis or allergic rhinitis. The diagnosis is made by rigid endoscopic examination and paranasal sinus tomography. Treatment is surgical removal of the mass. We present this case as a case of rhinolite followed by chronic sinusitis for many years in the light of literature.

Kronik rekürrent sinüzitli olguda rinolit: olgu sunumu
