İnce iğne aspirasyonu değerlendirmesinde güçlük oluşturabilecek nadir bir lezyon: İntraparotideal lipom

Year 2016, Volume: 8 Issue: 1, 56 - 58, 01.03.2016

Abstract

Intraparotideal lipoma: a rare case and a common challenge in fine needle aspiration biopsy interpretation

Year 2016, Volume: 8 Issue: 1, 56 - 58, 01.03.2016

Abstract

Lipomas are one of the most common benign mesenchymal tumors. They; however, are rarely encountered among parotideal masses. Here we represent a rare case of intraparotideal lipoma which was misinterpreted in the original fine needle aspiration biopsy due to the lack of appropriate clinical and radiological information
