TÜRKİYE’DE ÖZEL EĞİTİM VE REHABİLİTASYON MERKEZLERİNDE ÇALIŞAN FİZYOTERAPİSTLERİN TÜKENMİŞLİK DÜZEYLERİNİN İNCELENMESİ

Abstract

Çalışmada, özel eğitim ve rehabilitasyon merkezinde çalışan fizyoterapistlerin tükenmişlik düzeyleri ve bunu etkileyen demografik ve mesleki değişkenlerin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışma, Türkiye genelinde özel eğitim ve rehabilitasyon merkezlerinde çalışan 362 fizyoterapistin elektronik ortamda oluşturulan anket sorularını cevaplamasıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışmada demografik veri formu, Çalışma Yaşamı Kalitesi Ölçeği ve Maslach Tükenmişlik Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Katılımcıların 232’si kadın (%64.1) ve 130’u erkektir (%35.9). Elde edilen verilere göre katılımcı fizyoterapistlerin duygusal tükenme ortalamaları 28.55±8.11 ile yüksek düzeyde, duyarsızlaşma ortalamaları 10.94±4.01 ile orta düzeyde, kişisel başarı ortalamaları 28.43±5.11 ile yüksek düzeyde bulunmuştur. Çalışma Yaşamı Kalite Ölçeği ortalamalarının ise, 60.24±12.60 olarak ortalama değerin üstünde olduğu gözlemlenmiştir. Çalışma sonucuna göre; katılan fizyoterapistlerin yaş, medeni durum, sahip olduğu çocuk sayısı, meslekte aktif olarak geçirilen süre, mesleğe devam etme isteği, aldığı maaş miktarı ile duygusal tükenme ve duyarsızlaşma arasında negatif anlamlı korelasyon bulunmuştur. Yaş, medeni durum, meslekte aktif olarak geçirilen süre, mesleğe devam etme isteği, aldığı maaş miktarı ve mezuniyet sonrası eğitim sayısı ile kişisel başarı arasında pozitif anlamlı korelasyon gözlenmiştir. Fizyoterapistlerin çalışan ve taşrada görev yapıyor olmasının tükenmişlik düzeyini arttırdığı sonucuna varılmıştır. Fizyoterapistlerin mesleğe uygunluk düzeyleri ile duygusal tükenme ve duyarsızlaşma arasında pozitif anlamlı korelasyon gözlenmiştir. Çalışma yaşamı kalite ölçeği ile duygusal tükenme ve duyarsızlaşma arasında negatif anlamlı, kişisel başarı arasında ise pozitif anlamlı korelasyon rapor edilmiştir. Bu sonuçlar göz önünde bulundurulduğunda her anlamda verimli çalışabilmek adına fizyoterapistlerde tükenmişliğin engellenmesi veya azaltılması için fizyoterapistlik meslek yasasında, çalışma şartlarında ve istihdam sayılarında düzenlemeye gidilmesi gibi önlemlerin alınması önemlilik arz etmektedir.
