UYGULAMALI EĞİTİMDE DİJİTAL BECERİLERİN ROLÜ: ÖĞRENCİLERİN İŞ DÜNYASINA HAZIRLANMASI

Year 2025, Volume: 21 Issue: 1, 37 - 61

Abstract

Year 2025, Volume: 21 Issue: 1, 37 - 61

Abstract

Today, there is a digital transformation in every aspect of social and economic life. In the process of digital transformation, software and programs used in business life fulfill important functions and play a leading role in conducting business in a more professional and faster way. In this direction, qualified individuals who can use these software and programs are preferred in employment. The aim of this study is to analyze the importance of digital skills in the business world and the contribution of applied education models to the employability of students. The importance of integrating digital tools and software into education will be emphasized, especially in fields such as Finance and Banking, International Trade, Gastronomy and Culinary Arts, Tourism Management and Hotel Management, which have departments in faculties of applied sciences. It is argued that by incorporating local software solutions such as Mikro Software into education, students can better respond to sectoral needs.
Digital transformation is a process that redefines the link between education and business. The fact that educational institutions integrate sectoral software into their curricula and enable students to gain digital skills offers significant gains at both individual and societal levels. In particular, the use of local software such as Mikro Software in applied education will contribute to both increasing individual competencies and the digitalization process of the business world in Turkey. The dissemination of applied education models and the integration of digital tools into education play a critical role in increasing the employability of graduates.
