Abstract
Acinetobacter spp. birçok antimikrobiyal ajana karşı direnç geliştirerek tedavisi ve kontrolü güç olan
infeksiyonlara neden olmaktadır. Bu çalışmada kafa travması sonrası çoklu ilaç dirençli Acinetobacter
baumannii menenjiti gelişen olgunun klinik seyri ve tedavi sonucu bildirilmektedir. Yüksek doz
meropenemle etkin tedaviye dikkat çekilmiştir

Abstract
It is difficult to control and treat infections caused by Acinetobacter spp. due to its ability to developresistance to many antimicrobial agents. Our case represented the clinical progress and results of thetreatment of post traumatic multidrug-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii menengitis. An attention wasattracted on the effective treatment wıth hıgh dose meropenem.
