Hemiplejide heterotopik ossifikasyon gelişimi: iki olgu sunumu Ve literatür incelemesi

Abstract

Heterotopik ossifikasyon, omurilik ve travmatik beyin yaralanmaları, femoral, asetabular kırık veartroplasti operasyonları ve geniş yanıklar sonrası oldukça sık görülen, periartiküler dokularda yenikemik oluşumu ile karakterize bir komplikasyondur. Buna karşılık, hemiplejik hastalarda oldukça enderolarak (%0.5-1.2) gözlenmektedir.Serebrovasküler olay sonucu hemipleji ve kalça eklemlerinde heterotopik ossifikasyon gelişen 2 olguve konuyla ilgili genel literatür incelemesi sunulmaktadır.Hemiplejik hastalarda, özellikle eklem ile ilgili ağrı, hassasiyet, ısı artışı, şişlik ve eklem hareketaçıklığında azalma gibi bulgular saptandığında ayırıcı tanıda heterotopik ossifikasyon düşünülmelidir.

Heterotopic ossification in hemiplegia: report of two cases and Review of the literature

Abstract

Heterotopic ossification, a complication frequently encountered after spinal cord injury, traumatic braininjury, femoral fracture, acetabular fracture, arthroplasty, diffuse burns, is characterized with newbone formation in periarticular tissues. However, it is rarely observed (0.5-1.2%) in hemiplegicpatients.Two heterotopic ossification cases of hip joint following hemiplegia due to serebrovascular accidentand general literature review are presented.When signs such as pain, tenderness, heat increase, effusion in the joint and decrease in range ofmotion are detected, heterotopic ossification must be taken into account for differential diagnosis, inhemiplegic patients.
