Gilles de la Tourette sendromu ve obsesif kompulsif bozukluk tanılı çocuklarda Cryptococcus neoformans antikorları

Abstract

Çocukluk çağında Tourette sendromu ve obsesif kompulsif bozukluk nedeni bilinmeyen nöropsikiyatrik bozukluklardır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, immünsistemi sağlam konakta sessiz infeksiyon etkeni olarak bulunabilen Cryptococus neoformans’ın Tourette bozukluğu ve obsesif kompulsif bozukluk hastalarında antikorlarının varlığınıaraştırmaktır. Araştırmaya alınan 38 hastanın 6’sında (%15.7) C.neoformans antikorları saptanırken, kontrol olarak 35 sağlıklı gönüllünün 4’ünde (%11.4) antikor saptandı (p>0.05). Sonuç olarak Tourette bozukluğu ve obsesif kompulsif bozukluk tanılı hastalarda C.neoformans antikorları toplumdan farklı bulunmamıştır.
