Sol atriyal apendiks trombüsü tanısında iki boyutlu transtorasik ekokardiyografinin önemi

Abstract

Sol atriyal trombüs sıklığı atriyal fibrilasyon ve mitral darlıklı hastalarda yüksektir. Trombüsün varlığı velokalizasyonu tedavi kararının verilmesinde önemli kriterlerdir. Ekokardiyografi kardiyak kitlesi olan hastalarıntanısının konmasında esas tetkiktir. Transtorasik ekokardiyografi ile özellikle sol atriyal apendiksteki trombüsüngörülmesi çoğunlukla zor olmasına rağmen, biz burada sol atrial apendiks trombüsünün modifiye transtorasikekokardiyografi ile ortaya konabileceğini gösterdik.

The role of two-dimensional transthoracic echocardiography in the diagnosis of left atrial appendage thrombus

Abstract

The incidence of left atrial thrombi is higher in patients with mitral valve stenosis and atrial fibrillation. Itspresence and localization plays a significant role in deciding on the therapeutic approach. Echocardiographyis essential in establishing the diagnosis in patients with cardiac masses. Although the visualization of thrombiis mostly difficult especially in left atrial appendix by transthoracic echocardiography, we herein demonstratedthat a thrombus of the left atrial appendage can also be revealed by modified transthoracic echocardiographicwindows.
