Neutrophilic dermatosis of hands

Abstract

Sweet’s syndrome presents with fever, painful inflammatory papules and nodules, neutrophilic leukocytosis and histopathologically neutrophil infiltration in the dermis. Sweet's syndrome that is localized to the dorsum of the hands is called as neutrophilic dermatosis of the dorsal hands (NDDH). Even though dermatologic lesions mainly present on the dorsum of the hands there are a few cases reported with palmar involvement in the literature. Due to its rarity, two women aged 42 and 61 years with EDND are presented in this article.
