Recurrent ventricular tachycardia episodes in a patient with Pallister-Killian syndrome

Abstract

Pallister-Killian syndrome is a rare genetic disorder characterized by craniofacial dysmorphism, growth retardation, mental retardation, hypotonia, seizures, vision and hearing disorders, congenital malformations and congenital heart disease. Ventricular septal defect and atrial septal defect are the most common cardiac malformations. Arrhythmias have been reported rarely in these patients. In this case report, recurrent ventricular tachycardia episodes were reported an eleven years old patient with Pallister-Killian syndrome and wanted to emphasize that patients with Pallister Killian syndrome should be screened for the arrhythmia.
