Pamukkale üniversitesi hastanesi’nde diyabetik ayak İnfeksiyonlarının mikrobiyolojik ve klinik değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, diyabetik ayak infeksiyonlu hastaların klinik ve mikrobiyolojik bulgularının
değerlendirilmesi amaçlandı. Şubat 2003-Mayıs 2004 tarihleri arasında İnfeksiyon Hastalıkları Kliniği
tarafından takip edilen 22 hasta incelendi. Diyabetin komplikasyonları açısından araştırıldığında, 18
hastada nöropati varlığı tespit edildi. En sık karşılaşılan etkenlerin sırasıyla metisiline duyarlı
Staphylococcus aureus, metisiline dirençli S. aureus ve Escherichia coli olduğu bulundu. Sonuç
olarak, diyabete bağlı oluşabilecek ciddi komplikasyonlar nedeniyle bu hastaların çok iyi takip
edilmeleri gereklidir. (Pamukkale Tıp Dergisi, 2008;1:9-12).

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the clinical and microbiological findings of patients withdiabetic food infection. Twenty-two patients followed by Infectious Diseases Clinic between February2003-May 2004 were researched. When the complications of diabetes were analysed, neuropathywas found in 18 patients. Methicillin-sensitive S. aureus, methicillin-resistant S. aureus and E. coliwere most frequently detected infectious agents. In conclusion, these patients have to be followedvery well because of the complications of diabetes.
