Abstract

2003-2006 tarihleri arasında 144 öğrenci, hastane laboratuvarlarında stajlarına başlamadan önce vestajlarının bitiminde, nasal Staphylococcus aureus taşıyıcılığı yönünden araştırılmıştır. NasalS.aureus taşıyıcılığı hastanede staja başlamadan önce alınan örneklerden sekizinde (%5.5) S.aureusüremesi olurken, staj bitiminde alınan örneklerden 17’sinde (%11.8) bulunmuştur. İzole edilen 25 S.aureussuşunun 4’ünde (%16.0) metisiline direnç saptanmıştır.

Abstract

Nasal Staphylococcus aureus carriage in 144 students before and after laboratory practice wasinvestigated between 2003 and 2006.While the carriage ratio 8(5.5 %) before practice was detected, itwas found as 17(11.8 %) after practice. Among 25 isolated S.aureus strains, 4(16.0 %) were resistantto methicillin.
