Abstract

Kalçanın sinovial kondromatozi, eklem kapsülünde kıkırdak oluşumu ve snovial metaplaziyle karakterize ve eklemin snovyal membranında metaplastik kıkırdak oluşuran nadir görülen bir durumdur. Snovyal kondromatozis erken evrelerde nonspesifik bulguları oluduğu için mekanik semptomlar ve artroz gelişinceye kadar sıklıkla teşhisinde gecikilebilir. Biz ağrılı ve eklemde kısıtlılığı olan ihmal edilmiş snovyal kondromatozis olgusu sunmayı amaçladık. Lateral kalça yaklaşımı ile yapılan snovyal rezeksiyon ve total kalça artroplastisinden sonra 15 aylık takiplerinde mükemmel fonksiyonel sonuçlar elde edildi.

Neglected Case Of Hip Joit Synovial Chondromatosis

Abstract

Synovial chondromatosis of the hip is a rare condition of metaplastic cartilage development in the synovial membrane of joints and characterised by synovial metaplasia and the formation of cartilaginous in the joint capsule. Because nonspecific manifestation in early grade, diagnosis of synovial chondromatosis can be often delayed until mechanical symptoms and arthrosis occured. We present that a case of neglected synovial chondromatosis with painful hip and limitation. After surgical treatment synovial resection and total hip arthropasty via lateral approach to hip, the patient had achieved an excellent functional results at 15 months of follow-up
