Abstract

The book is comprised of five chapters and in the first one, the author highlights the lack of knowledge on the Arctic and the region’s growing importance following the negative developments that have taken place regarding environment, while also mentioning the technological advancements in the region in the monitoring and extracting of the natural resources.
