Anestezistler İçin Radyasyon Güvenliği

Year 2023, , 1 - 5, 01.03.2023
https://doi.org/10.38175/phnx.1093308

Abstract

Radiation Safety for Anesthesiologists

Year 2023, , 1 - 5, 01.03.2023
https://doi.org/10.38175/phnx.1093308

Abstract

The increasing prevalence of radiation, which has been used in the health field since the beginning of the twentieth century, inside and outside the operating room, leads to an increase in the radiation exposure of anesthesiologists. Therefore, it is very important to have knowledge about the basic concepts of radiation, radiation physics, and radiation safety in order to ensure both the safety of employees and patients, and to minimize the potential harmful effects of radiation exposure.
Our purpose is to inform anesthesiologists and help them to keep their occupational radiation exposure to a minimum.
