Trauma Management in the Elderly

Year 2025, Volume: 7 Issue: 3, 121 - 121, 13.01.2026

Abstract

The geriatric population is increasing worldwide due to longer life expectancy and declining fertility rates. Parallel to this demographic shift, emergency department visits by elderly patients are also rising. Countries are increasingly required to allocate more resources for the care of geriatric patients. Trauma, in particular, remains a major cause of significant morbidity and mortality in this age group.

Geriatrik Travma Hastasına Yaklaşım

Year 2025, Volume: 7 Issue: 3, 121 - 121, 13.01.2026
