Saving One Life While Thousands are Lost: A Reflection on Health Justice and Global Inequities
Abstract
Modern medicine fights with extraordinary strength to save individual lives, yet millions perish from preventable causes such as hunger, conflict, and poverty. This reflection calls for a redefinition of health justice—recognizing that food, water, and peace are the most fundamental medicines, and that saving lives must extend beyond the hospital walls.
