Dandy-Walker Malformasyonu

Abstract

Dandy-Walker Malformasyonu (DWM), posterior fossayı içeren ve tipik olarak hidrosefaliye bağlı klinik bulgularla ortaya çıkan bir kraniyal anomalidir. Bu derleme, DWM ile ilişkili temel klinik ve patolojik özellikleri, radyolojik karakteristikleri, prevalansı ve tedavi yöntemlerini ortaya koymayı amaçlamaktadır. PubMed ve Elsevier gibi elektronik platformlarda “Dandy Walker Malformation”, “Dandy Walker Malformation Treatment”, “Radiological Findings of Dandy Walker Malformation”, “Antenatal Diagnosis of Dandy Walker Malformation” ve “Hydrocephalus Treatment and Management” anahtar kelimeleri kullanılarak taramalar yapılmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlar derlenmiş ve özetlenmiştir.

Dandy Walker Malformation

Abstract

Dandy-Walker Malformation (DWM) is a cranial anomaly that involves the posterior fossa and typically presents with clinical manifestations of hydrocephalus. This review aims to delineate the fundamental clinical and pathological features, radiological characteristics, prevalence, and treatment methods associated with DWM. Searches were conducted on electronic platforms such as PubMed and Elsevier using keywords such as 'Dandy Walker Malformation,' 'Dandy Walker Malformation Treatment,' 'Radiological Findings of Dandy Walker Malformation,' 'Antenatal Diagnosis of Dandy Walker Malformation,' and 'Hydrocephalus Treatment and Management.' The results were compiled and summarized.
