Abstract
1900’lü yıllarda elektrikli otomobiller içten yanmalı motorların seri üretimiyle baş edememiştir. 2000'lerin hemen yanında patlayan enerji krizleri, araç karbon emisyonlarının artması ve bazı ülkelerde bu yüzden araçların trafikten yasaklamaya başlanması oto üreticilerini alternatif enerji kaynaklarıyla çalışan ve/veya alternatif sürüş sistemine sahip araçlar üretmeye zorlamıştır. Günümüzde ise birçok otomobil markası elektrikli araçlar üretmekte ve yaygın bir tedarik zinciri ve servis ağı oluşturmaktadır. Bu çalışmada elektrikli otomobillerde sık kullanılan çekiş motor tipleri hakkında bilgi verilmesinin yanı sıra karar vericilerin elektrik motor tip seçimi yaparken göz önünde bulundurmaları gereken parametreler verilmiştir. Son olarak, sık kullanılan beş motor tipi karşılaştırılarak göreceli üstünlük ve zafiyetleri gösterilmiştir.
