Bu çalışmanın amacı, ortaöğretim kurumlarında görevli X, Y kuşağı öğretmen ve öğrenim gören Z kuşağındaki öğrencilerin siber güvenlik farkındalık düzeylerinin sosyal medyada satın alma niyetlerine etkisinde idiosentrizm ve allosentrizmin düzenleyici etkilerini araştırmaktır. Araştırmanın örneklemini Kayseri ili ortaöğretim kurumlarında çalışan öğretmen ve öğrenim gören öğrenciler oluşturmaktadır. Kolayda örnekleme yöntemiyle seçilen kurumlarda 654 katılımcıya ulaşılmıştır. Toplanan veriler SPSS, Amos ve Process makro (model1) kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma bulgularına göre Z kuşağı tüketicilerin idiosentrizm değerleri X ve Y kuşaklarına göre oldukça yüksektir. Siber güvenlik farkındalığının sosyal medyada satın alma niyetine etkisinde idiosentrizmin X, Y ve Z kuşaklarında, allosentrizmin ise X kuşağı hariç Y ve Z kuşaklarında düzenleyici bir etkiye sahip olduğu görülmüştür.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the moderator effects of idiocentrism and allocentrism on the effect of cyber security awareness levels of Generation X, Generation Y teachers, and Generation Z students in secondary education institutions on their purchase intentions in social media. The sample of the study consists of teachers and students working in secondary education institutions in Kayseri. In the institutions selected by convenience sampling method, 654 participants were reached. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS, Amos and Process macro (model1). According to the research findings, the idiocentrism values of Generation Z consumers are considerably higher than Generations X and Y. In the effect of cyber security awareness on purchase intention in social media, it was observed that idiocentrism had a moderating effect on X, Y and Z generations, while allocentrism had a moderating effect on Y and Z generations.
