Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı beden eğitimi ve spor öğretmenliği lisans öğrencilerinin eşcinselliğe yönelik bilgilerini, lezbiyen ve geylere yönelik tutumlarını belirlemek ve eşcinselliğe yönelik bilgi, lezbiyen ve geylere yönelik tutum ve dindarlık düzeyi arasında ilişki olup olmadığını incelemektir. Araştırmaya Beden Eğitimi Öğretmenliği Bölümü’nde öğrenim gören 78 kadın ( Yaş = 21.90±2.55) 91 erkek ( Yaş= 22.27±2.22) olmak üzere toplam 169 öğrenci ( Yaş= 22.10±2.37) katılmıştır. Araştırmada “Lezbiyen ve Geylere Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği-LGYT”, “Eşcinselliğe Yönelik Bilgi Formu-EYBF” ve “Dindarlık Ölçeği-DÖ” kullanılmıştır. Araştırma bulguları kadın ve erkek katılımcıların geylere yönelik, lezbiyenlere yönelik tutum puanları, eşcinselliğe yönelik bilgi düzeyleri ve dindarlık düzeyleri arasında anlamlı bir fark olmadığını ortaya koymuştur. Ayrıca, araştırma sonucunda öğretmen adaylarının geylere yönelik tutum puanları ile lezbiyenlere yönelik tutum puanları ve geylere ve lezbiyenlere yönelik toplam tutum puanları arasında istatistiksel olarak aynı yönde ve yüksek düzeyde bir ilişki olduğu; geylere yönelik tutum puanları ile dindarlık puanları arasında ise ters yönde ve düşük düzeyde ilişki olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır. Ek olarak, katılımcıların lezbiyenlere yönelik tutumları ile geylere ve lezbiyenlere yönelik toplam tutum puanları arasında da aynı yönde ve yüksek düzeyde ilişki; geylere ve lezbiyenlere yönelik toplam tutum puanları ile dindarlık puanları arasında da ters yönde ve orta düzeyde ilişki olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır.
