Abstract
This study aims to evaluate the Aviation Management programs of state universities in Türkiye based on the 2022, 2023, and 2024 YÖK Atlas data. Within the scope of this purpose, the data on Aviation Management programs at state universities were reviewed on the YÖK Atlas website, analyzed using the document analysis method, and the findings were reported. According to the findings of the study, Eskişehir Technical University ranked first in the three-year YKS placement ranking, followed by Kocaeli University and Erciyes University, while Iğdır University had the lowest YKS placement ranking. It can be said that Dicle University and İskenderun Technical University had the highest number of students placed in 2024. It can also be stated that the lowest general quota in 2022 was at Tarsus University and Malatya Turgut Özal University. It was concluded that the most preferred university in total in 2024 was Eskişehir Technical University, while the least preferred university was Iğdır University. Considering the geographical regions from which students were placed, a large proportion of the students placed at Dicle University were from the Southeastern Anatolia Region, where the university is located, while a large proportion of the students placed at Balıkesir University were from the Marmara Region, where the university is located. When the educational status of students placed over the three-year period is examined, it can be stated that, for all universities, the students were high school graduates and had not previously been placed in a university program. The gender distribution of students placed over the three-year period was 57% female and 43% male.
