DELUSIONS RESULTING FROM NATIONALIST VIEWPOINTS AND ARMENIAN ALLEGATIONS

Abstract

In the studies made so far, neither Armenian nationalism, norethnic nationalism nourished within this nationalism has ever fallen inthe area of interest of researchers. In this article Armenian nationalismis raised within the context of nationalist delusions. Questions to whichanswers are sought are as follows: “What kind of an image does theArmenian nationalism project within the picture that portrays the worldhistory of nationalism? Will the qualities of materials that enable us tofollow the evolutionary process of Armenian nationalism be able to givea different viewpoint to the interpretations regarding nationalism?”Within this framework, without forcing the article’s limits of volume,attention has been drawn to the typological features of Armeniannationalism, its differences that can be qualified as original and themechanism that operates the reproduction tools of that nationalism. Forthe assessments regarding the Armenian nationalism, formation ofnationalism in world scale and its stages of development have been usedas historical background. The subject that has been opened to debate inthis article is that the tools of struggle against ethnic nationalism, ratherthan becoming measures, operates the mechanism that gives birth to andreproduces the ethnic discriminations, ethnic nationalisms and evenracism

MİLLİYETÇİ BAKIŞ AÇILARININ NEDEN OLDUĞU YANILSAMALAR VE ERMENİ İDDİALARI

Abstract

Şu ana kadar yapılan çalışmalarda ne Ermeni milliyetçiliği ne de bumilliyetçilik içerisinde filizlenen etnik milliyetçilik araştırmacıların ilgialanına girmiştir. Bu makalede milliyetçi yanılsamalar çerçevesindeErmeni milliyetçiliği incelenmektedir. Cevap aranan sorular şöylesıralanabilir: “Dünya milliyetçilik tarihini temsil eden bir resimdeErmeni milliyetçi projesi nasıl bir görünüm sergilemektedir? Ermenimilliyetçiliğinin evrimleşme sürecini izlememize imkân tanıyanmateryallerin kalitesi, milliyetçiliğe dair yorumlara farklı bir bakış açısısunmakta mıdır?” Bu bağlamda, makalenin sınırları zorlanmadan, Ermenimilliyetçiliği, onu orijinal kılan farklılıkları ve yeniden üretilme araçlarınıkontrol eden mekanizmaların tipolojik özelliklerine dikkat çekilecektir.Ermeni milliyetçiliğine dair değerlendirmeler için, dünya çapındamilliyetçiliğin oluşumu ve gelişim evreleri tarihsel arka plan olankullanılmıştır. Bu makalede tartışmaya açılan konu etnik milliyetçiliğe karşımücadele araçları, önlem olmaktan çıkarak, etnik ayrımcılıkları, etnikmilliyetçiliği ve hatta ırkçılığı ortaya çıkan ve yeniden üreten mekanizmalarıkontrol etmekte olduğudur
