OKUMA VE HİKÂYE ANLATIMINA DAYALI DİLDE YETERLİLİK KAZANIMI TPRS METODU

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, yabancı dil öğretimine yeni bir bakış açısı getiren “Okuma ve Hikâye Anlatımına Dayalı Dilde Yeterlilik Kazanımı” metodu hakkında bilgi vermektir. 1990’lı yıllarda oluşturulan bu metot, etkin bir yabancı dil öğretim süreci için geliştirilen yeni metot olarak nitelendirilebilir. Bu metottan, dünya genelinde yabancı dil öğretimi için yararlanılmaktadır. Ayrıca, bu metot uluslararası alanda pek çok tez çalışmasına da konu olmuştur. Ancak, Türki-ye’de, bu metot ile ilgili yapılan çalışmaların oldukça sınırlı olduğu söylenebilir. Bu çalışmada, okuma ve hikâye anlatımına dayalı dilde yeterlilik kazanımı metodunun ne olduğu, özellikleri, temel dayanakları ve uygulamada dikkat edilmesi gereken noktaların neler olduğu ortaya konulmuştur. Araştırmada derleme tarama yöntemi kullanılmıştır

THE METHOD OF TEACHING PROFICIENCY THROUGH READING AND STORYTELLING TPRS

Abstract

The aim of this study is to give information about Teaching Proficiency through Reading and Storytelling TPRS method that brings a new perspective to foreign language teaching. Being created in 1990s, it can be described as a new method for an effective foreign language teaching. TPRS is used in foreign teaching process around the world. Also, this method has been a subject of some thesis in international arena. However, studies on TPRS are limited in Turkey. This study points out what TPRS is, what it features, what are basic premises of TPRS and what are the points to be careful about. Scanning method is used as research method in this study
