In 550 BC, the Persian dynasty ended Med domination and established a steady state, extending its borders shortly to India, Central Asia, the Caucasus and Egypt. The Persians defeated the Lydians in 546 BC and took Anatolia under their sovereignty. The Anatolian domination of Persians lasted for two hundred years until the reign of Alexander the Great, King of Macedonia, at 330 BC. Persian cavalry figurines in the Diyarbakir Museum are horse carriages that are not excavated but retained in the museum's warehouse, which is acquired through purchase or grant. In this work, the technique and the art of the figurines made of terracotta of the Persians, who established dominance in Anatolia, is mentioned. The origin of these figures known as Persian Cavalry figurines in the archaeological literature was investigated. This work has been taken into account as these figurines found in many parts of the Southeast Anatolian region are referred to as having little work in archaeology
