Professor, Head of the Department of Methods of Teaching Social Studies and Humanities at Moscow City University, full member of the International Academy of Pedagogical Education Sciences, Candidate of Sciences (PhD) in Pedagogy, Associate Professor.
I started his labor activity in 1989. I worked as a teacher, deputy director, school director, general director of The Chernomyrdin Museum. I lectured at Lomonosov Moscow State University (Russia), Moscow Pedagogical State University (Russia), Karshi State University (Uzbekistan), Shakhrisabz State Pedagogical Institute (Uzbekistan) and others.
In 1998-2005 I was an expert of the Federal Expert Council of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation. I participated in the interdepartmental working group on the development of the Concept of teaching social studies in the Russian Federation (2016-2018). I was an expert of PISA international study on financial literacy (2018). I was a member of the jury and then the chairman of the jury of the All-Russian contest of methodological developments on financial literacy (2017-2019). I was a member of the professional organization ICOM Russia. In 2016-2024 I was a member of the Expert Council on financial literacy of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation. Since 2023 I have been a member of the Scientific Council for the Development of entrepreneurial education at the Department of General Secondary Education of the Russian Academy of Education.
Scientific supervisor of the Master's program “Formation of Functional Literacy in Socio-humanitarian Education and Educational Activities”. Member of the expert council of the scientific and practical journal “Pedagogical IMAGE”. Member of the editorial board of the journals “Teaching History and Social Studies at School”, “Russian Literature”, “Bulletin of Moscow State Pedagogical University. Series: Historical Sciences.
Author of more than 150 scientific publications, including 6 monographs, 11 textbooks, 1 federal textbook. Actively participates in a variety of scientific works.
