Abstract
Psoas apsesi ender rastlanılan, genellikle tanısı zor ve geç konulan bir durumdur. Çocuklarda ve gençlerde daha sık, yaşlılarda ise daha nadir rastlanmaktadır. Psoas apsesi primer ve sekonder olarak gelişebilir. Yetişkin hastalarda primer psoas apsesi gelişmesi nadir bir durumdur. Bu yazıda ateş etyolojisi araştırılan geriatrik yaş grubunda bilgisayarlı tomografi ile görüntüleme yapılarak primer psoas apsesi tanısı konulan bir olgu sunulmuştur.
