The study discusses the reality and the emergence Mujahideen Youth Movement in Somalia and future paths in the light of the increasing activity of the jihadist movements in the world and the global interest in this activity after the events of 911/. The researcher focuses on the historical developments of the youth movement since the first inception in 2004 swinging loyalties inside the movement conflicts between different wings and the importance of location in the Horn of Africa and the opportunities it had during the last period. As for the future of Mujahideen Youth Movement the researcher believes that the victories of jihadist movements in Africa such as ISIS in Libya Boko Haram in Nigeria and Al-Qaeda in Mali strengthen and motivate the movement
