Due to the war in Syria millions of people left their homeland seeking safety. These Syrian refugees٫ who escaped the misery of the war. migrated and survived now reside in other countries. They are immigrants٫ but are distinguishable from other immigrants in certain ways. For example٫ Syrian refugees٫ most of whom experienced several traumatic war events٫ often show exceptionally high depression٫ posttraumatic stress disorder٫ and somatic symptoms. A solution to their present psychological situation is currently being explored by examining refugees’ perspectives toward their past٫ present٫ and future. This exploration began with research in 2016 on 2000 Syrian refugees in Turkey
