Abstract
This research attempts to identify the specifics of the relations between turkey and russia, especially in the context of cooperation and differences. The research shows that there are many areas of cooperation between the two countries that promise great prospects for cooperation in the future expeually in the fields of energy, trade, tourism. however these areas remain threatened by differences over structural problems between the two countries on more than one issue. while The researcher praised the ability of the two countries to overcome the crisis of dropping the jet and the assassination of the Russian Ambassador, he still fears from the negative impact of the differences on the areas of cooperation, and calls for more efforts to expand areas of cooperation and immunize them
