This research examines the considerable escalation of the Iranian role in the Palestinian issue after the Iranian Revolution in 1979, which has increased notably after Hamas’s victory in the legislative elections in 2007. After the Arab Spring, the relations between Iran and the Palestinian resistance movements have declined because of Iran's stance on several issues; the Syrian crisis basically. This research argues that Iran interferes in the Palestinian issue because of its political, strategic, and sectarian goals and interests, whereas the interior and regional determinants of Iran's policy and foreign relations adjust this role and affect its goals
