Abstract
This study takes a qualitative and quantitative approach based on the question of the geopolitical importance of the natural resources controlled by the terrorist organization YPG in Syria and their impact on the balances in the region and In this context first Syria's energy sources were comprehensively assessed, and then the dirty trade links established by the YPG terrorist organization with the regime were discussed. In conclusion the paper address the sanctions imposed by the united States of America on the Assad regime
