Abstract

After 10 months since Adel Abdul Mahdi took over as prime minister of Iraq previous challenges continue to pose as well as new ones posed by domestic political developments after the last elections last year. In addition. developments in the uS-Iranian conflict have a direct and sensitive impact on Iraq. This article attempts to discuss the development of the political process in Iraq after the May 2018 elections and the crises that accompanied the process of forming the government of Adel Abdul Mahdi in August 2018 In an unstable environment on the local and regional sides. This article reviews the crises of the political process that facing the government of Adel Abdul Mahdi
