Abstract
This article discusses the water situation in Turkey and the Middle East and the Turkish and Iraqi view of water as a strategic source. Water is considered the most strategic issue in the Middle East which has the world’s largest reserves of oil. But it is difficult to say the same thing for water. In terms of water resources Middle East countries’ situation is very difficult. many countries such as Egypt Iran Iraq. Jordan Kuwait Libya Saudi Arabia Tunisia uAE Yemen and Bahrain suffer from water scarcity. Perhaps we should use water resources and technology consciously and share them with countries in need so that future generations will not face the problem of securing water even if today it is not a big problem for us. There is no problem without a solution as long as this understanding of Turkey continues
