This paper aims to present a critical analytical reading of the book The Constitutional Crisis in Islamic Civilization [i] by the thinker Muhammad bin Al-Mukhtar Al-Shanqeeti, who is engaged in an ambitious theoretical project, which aims to re-read the Islamic Heritage a new reading, with what he believes will benefit the Islamic nation in its various current battles: Intellectual, political, and moral, or as the author states his "civilized battle." He adopts a regenerative breath, with attitudes toward issues of change in the region. The researcher tries addressing the previous literature of Al-Shanqeeti, in the context of research within the theoretical framework of this study
