Abstract

تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تحليل الانتخابات الرئاسية التي عقدت في إيران في الثامن عشر من يونيو 2021 بجوانبها المختلفة، بما في ذلك المسار الانتخابي والمرحلة التي تلته. كما تسعى إلى تحليل الانتخابات الرئاسية بالرجوع إلى النظام الدستوري الإيراني والنظام الانتخابي والتطورات السياسية الداخلية والخارجية. وتتناول أهمية الانتخابات بالنسبة للسياسة الداخلية والخارجية، والتطورات المتوقع حدوثها عقب الانتخابات. وتحاول تقييم الملفات الشخصية للمرشحين وخطاباتهم، عبر تسليط الضوء على التيارات السياسية التي ينتمون إليها والعلاقة بينهم. كما تركز بدقة على سؤال "ماذا الذي تعنيه نتائج الانتخابات؟" ليس على مستوى النخب السياسية فحسب، بل وفي سياق العلاقة التي أقامتها الدولة الإيرانية مع المجتمع الإيراني. وختاماً تكشف الدراسة عن أهمية الانتخابات ليس بالنسبة للسياسة اليومية فحسب، بل ومن حيث التحولات التي يحتمل أن تحفزها في النظام السياسي ككل.

Iranian Presidential Elections 2021 Conservative Shift

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the 2021 Iranian presidential elections from several aspects, including the electoral process and the stage after it. The study analyzes elections with reference to Iran's constitution, electoral system and the domestic and foreign political developments. The importance of the elections for Iran's domestic and foreign policy and the expected developments after the elections have also been discussed. Candidate profiles, discourses, and the factions they belong to have been elaborated by emphasizing their relationality. Election results are not important only at the political elite level; but also at the level of state-society relations in Iran. Finally, this study concluded that the presidential election has the potential to shape Iran's actual politics but also could trigger structural political reforms.
