In the evaluation process of articles submitted for publication, academic neutrality and scientific merit are essential criteria. Therefore, authors should ensure that their manuscripts comply with the principles outlined in the International Standards for Editors and Authors of COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics).
Important: Authors bear full responsibility for all content produced using AI tools. Please review the journal’s AI Policy before submission.
Note: To enhance article visibility, once a manuscript is accepted, the layout process is carried out promptly, and the article is published online without delay.
General Information
The Sakarya Journal of Mathematics (SJM) is an international peer-reviewed journal that focuses on publishing quality research in the field of mathematics and its applications.
- SJM is issued quarterly, in June and December.
- Only one article per author may be published within the same calendar year.
- Manuscripts must be prepared in English.
- The similarity rate, excluding the references section, must be below 30%.
- Article submissions via e-mail are not accepted.
- Manuscripts missing any of the following will not enter the review process: compliance with the journal’s format, abstract, introduction, references, and footnotes. Exceptions may be made at the discretion of the Editorial Board.
- The submitted work must be original and free of plagiarism.
- All authors must have made a direct contribution to the work and must approve the final version.
- The article must not be under consideration or published elsewhere.
- Submissions must be made via the “Submit Article” page on the journal’s website.
- If an editor submits a manuscript, their editorial privileges are suspended during the review process. Once the process concludes, their role is restored.
Required Files for Submission
1. PDF with author information — including names, surnames, ORCID numbers, corresponding author details, and e-mails.
2. Anonymous PDF — prepared according to journal guidelines, with all author details removed for double-blind review.
3. Similarity report — uploaded during submission.
Optional files:
- Ethics Committee Approval, if applicable. This approval (including the committee name, date, and number) must also be stated in the Article Information Form at the end of the paper.
Permissions
If using previously published material such as figures, tables, or text, the original source must be cited. If not cited, written permission from the copyright holder must be obtained, and proof must be provided during submission. Otherwise, the content will be assumed to belong to the authors.
Title Page

- Full names of all authors
- A clear and concise title

Text Formatting
- Initial submission should be in PDF format.
- Upon acceptance, authors must provide the LaTeX source file in the SJM template format along with all figure files.
- Use the official SJM LaTeX template (see sample PDF).
Headings
