This research was carried out to examine the social skill levels of children with autism spectrum disorder, who received 48-72 months of education, with the relationship between play and drama. The participants consist of 21 children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, aged 48-72 months, who were educated at the Special Diagnosis Special Education and Rehabilitation Center, which is affiliated to the Ministry of National Education, in the district center of Kağıthane in the province of Istanbul in the 2020-2021 academic year. The research is in the pretest-posttest trial model, which is one of the quantitative research methods. In accordance with the relevant model, the “Social Skills Assessment Scale” was filled in as pretest-posttest. A game and drama program was applied to the participants during two lessons/sessions 4 days a week for 12 weeks. The SPSS.26 package program was used to analyze the research data. At the end of the research, from the nine sub-dimensions of the scale, "Interpersonal Skills", "Controlling Anger Behaviors and Adapting to Changes", "Coping with Peer Pressure", "Verbal Explanation Skills", "Self-Control Skills", "Self-Control Skills", "Self-Control Skills". A statistically significant difference was found between the total score medians of the sub-dimensions Skills,” “Listening Skills,” “Skills for Completing Tasks,” and “Skills for Accepting Results”.
