MASAJIN BAZI TOPARLANMA PARAMETRELERİNE ETKİSİ

Abstract

Bu çalışma, total klasik vücut masajının bazı toparlanma parametrelerine etkisini incelemek amacı ile yapılmıştır. Çalışmaya aktif olarak düzenli egzersiz yapan gönüllü 14 erkek üniversite öğrencisi katılmıştır. Katılımcılar rastgele olarak Masaj Grubu (MG) ve Kontrol Grubuna (MG) ayrılmıştır. Tüm katılımcılar çalışmanın amacı hakkında bilgilendirilmiş, test öncesi sonucu etkileyebilecek besinleri tüketmemeleri ve egzersiz yapmamaları konusunda uyarılmıştır. Katılımcılara yorucu egzersiz olarak 30 saniye Wingate Anaerobik Güç ve Kapasite testi uygulanmıştır. Kalp atım hızı (KAH), sistolik (SKB), diyastolik (DKB) kan basıncı ve kan laktat değerleri egzersiz sonrası hemen ve 15 dakika toparlanma sonrası ölçülmüştür. 15 dakika sonra dinlenimde MG grubuna total klasik masaj uygulanmış, kontrol grubu (KG) ise pasif biçimde dinlendirilmiştir. Elde edilen verilerin normallik dağılımları Shapiro Wilk Testi ile yapılmıştır. Pair Sample T -Test normal dağılım gösteren veriler için kullanılmıştır. Normal dağılım göstermeyen veriler için Wilcoxon İşaret Testi kullanılarak analizler yapılmıştır. Tüm analizler p<0.05 anlamlılık düzeyinde hesaplanmıştır. Total vücut masajı pasif dinlenmeye göre KAH, SKB ve DKB bakımından anlamlı farka neden olmamıştır (p > .05). Her iki grupta kan laktat değeri anlamlı olarak düşmüştür (MG; t = 4.47, p = .004; KG; t = -2.36, p = .018). Yüzdesel değişim miktarı MG grubunda - % 51.60, KG grubunda - % 24.63 olarak tespit edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak total klasik vücut masajının kan laktik asit düzeyinin uzaklaştırması üzerinde etkisi olduğu söylenebilir.

THE EFFECT OF MASSAGE ON SOME RECOVERY PARAMETERS

Abstract

The aim of this study was investigate the effect of total classic body massage on some recovery and circulation parameters. Fourteen non-athlete physically active male university students voluntarily participated in the study. Participants randomly divided into two group Massage Group (MG) and Control Group (KG). All participants were informed about the purpose of the study, food consumption and not join the exercise before the test. 30 second Wingate Test protocol was used as exhaustive exercise. Heart Rate (KAH), systolic (SKB) and diastolic (DKB) blood pressures and blood lactate measured immediately after and 15 min recovery after exhaustive exercise. During 15 min recovery, total classic body massage was applied to MG group. Passive recovery was applied to KG group. The Shapiro Wilk Test of normality was used to determine if the data were normally distributed. Pair Sample T-Test was used for data's were normally distributed, Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test was used for data's were not normally distributed. All analyses were set at p<.05 significance level. Results showed that no significant differences were observed on KAH, SKB, and DKB after both enforcement (p>.05). Both groups blood lactate levels were significantly decreased (MG; t = 4.47, p = .004; KG; t = -2.36, p = .018). Blood lactate levels were determined as -51.60% and -24.63% on MG group and KG group respectively. Consequently, the total classic body massage thought to be effective on lactate removal level in short period of recovery.
