SCIENNOVATION is a peer-reviewed international open access journal. It publishes , "original research articles", "technical notes" and "opinion articles". The journal aims to report experimental and theoretical studies on structural engineering.
SCIENNOVATION aims to be a well-known journal incexed by reputable indexes in the field of structural engineering.
SCIENNOVATION includes international scientific developments in the field of structural engineering.
The language of publication is Turkish and English.
It is published online twice a year and has open access.
The September issue which includes Turkish studies. The March issue which includes English studies.
There are 15 days pre-evaluation and 15 days scientific evaluation period for the studies sent to Sciennovation to be published. At the end of each period, the author will be informed about the grounds of acceptance or rejection.
ARTICLE TYPES
There are three types of articles in Sciennovation. These are "original article", "technical note" and "opinion article". Under the title of each published article, it is clearly stated which type of article is.
- Technical Note
The results of a preliminary evaluation of a scientific study can be published as a "Technical Note". Manuscripts which are not considered as original articles by the editorial board can also be published as a "technical notes".
- Original Research Article
The original publication will be asked to carry one of the following three qualifications. These are respectively;
"to introduce a new knowledge or method",
"have developed an existing knowledge or method by providing contribution",
"Reuse an existing information or method in a different area".
- Opinion Article and Editorail
Articles containing opinions, suggestions, experiences and scientific discussions about science and innovation can be published as opinion article.
The page structure of the article work to be published should be "A4" size single column. The top and bottom gaps are 13mm. Left and right gaps should be 25mm.
The text should be written in "Times New Roman" and include the following sections.

Contact information 10 pt thick, justified

References should be editted according to APA-6 Standarts. 10 pt, justfied, All references should be cited in the text.

It is the editor-in-chief's job to determine and implement Sciennovation's publishing policies.
Articles submitted to the journal are evaluated with a two-way blind peer-review system. Referee assignment and publication evaluation processes are done by the field editors.
Authors' Duties and Ethical Responsibilities
Articles must comply with scientific research techniques and publication ethics.
There should be no conflict of interest in the articles, if there is such a possibility, this situation should be clearly stated.
Authors should be ready to submit raw data regarding the article to the Editorial Board when requested.
A work under consideration in another journal cannot be submitted to Sciennovation.
Persons who did not contribute to the study cannot be among the authors.
Written consent must be obtained from anyone who has contributed to the study but is not among the authors.
Duties and Ethical Responsibilities of Referees
Referees should not agree to arbitrate on a subject for which they are not competent enough.
Evaluation should be done in an impartial, unbiased and confidential manner.
He/she should inform the field editor when he/she senses a conflict of interest or ethical violation.
He must abide by the time given to him.

The field editor applies the publication principles of Sciennovation.
While recommending the referee, he pays attention to the issues of expertise, competence and experience.
Helps the referee/author by guiding when necessary.
Evaluates referee reports with a scientific understanding and impartiality.
Editor's Duties and Ethical Responsibilities
The editor reviews the publication policies and changes them if necessary.
When choosing a field editor, he pays attention to expertise, competence and experience.
Constantly monitors and directs the evaluation processes, and intervenes if necessary.
The field editor concludes his reports with a scientific understanding and impartiality.
Sciennovation broadcasts completely free of charge on a voluntary basis. It does not charge any fees under any name.
