Abstract

With three Missionary Journeys, St. Paul has provided to spread of Christianity in Asia Minor and in Europe. In Second Missionary Journey, St. Paul crossed to Troad from Mysia, and sailed with a ship to Macedonia. Due to lack of data related to archaeological research in Troad, this Journey wasn’t been researced. In this study, with the latest archaeological findings, St. Paul’s journey in Troad has been interpreted.

Abstract

Aziz Paulus üç Kutsal Görev Gezisi ile Hıristiyanlığın Anadolu ve Avrupa’da yayılmasını sağlamıştır. İkinci Kutsal Görev Gezisinde Mysia’dan Troas’a geçen Paulus, Aleksandreia Troas kentinden gemi ile Makedonya’ya gitmiştir. Bu geziler ile ilgili yapılan araştırmalarda arkeolojik verilerin yetersizliğinden dolayı, Azizin Troas’daki güzergahı çak fazla ele alınmamıştır. Bu çalışmamızda Paulus’un Troas’a girişi ve bu bölgesindeki yolculuğu son arkeolojik bulgular ışığında yorumlanmıştır.
