Abstract
This study describes the research process of the PhD dissertation titled “Women Journalists in the Field of Local Journalism”. The experiences of the researcher who was online in the field from the beginning to the end of the research are mentioned. At the same time, the strategies applied to overcome the limitations of the research, and the problems encountered in the process are emphasized.

Bu çalışmada “Yerel Gazetecilik Alanında Kadın Gazeteciler” adlı doktora tezinin araştırma süreci anlatılıyor. Araştırmanın başlangıcından bitişine kadar geçen sürede online olarak sahada var olan araştırmacının yaşadıklarına değiniliyor. Aynı zamanda araştırmanın sınırlılıklarının, süreçte karşılaşılan sorunların nasıl aşıldığına yönelik uygulanan stratejiler üzerinde duruluyor.
