VE VERİMLİLİĞİNİN BİR AMPİRİK ÇALIŞMA

Abstract

An Empirical Study On Improving The Productivity And Regulation Of Inner-City Private Transport Service: The Case Of Sakarya The role of inner-city private minibus service and shared taxis within the transportation system have been one of contraversial issues among mayors as well as community. Transformation and modernization of current transportation systems to is one of the main issues of the local agenda. However, there is neither serious steps taken further beyond expressing ideas nor scientific research on it. The main aim of this research is to reveal whether there is a need for a transformation and modernization of the current transportation system presenting current situation of the system in figures and making a comparison between their profits and capacity usage. To fulfill this aim of the research, in the first part, their capacity usage and financial efficiency have been calculated using the data on the basis of their daily profits. In the second part, potential association structure have been analyzed. The current association structure of both minibusses and shared taxis is the chamber of artisans. However, cooperative association is thought as best structure among others in case of incorpation. In this research, financing of this kind of transformation and state subsidies have been analyzed and put forward some suggetions on the subject
