CONTROL OF AIR CONDITIONING WITH FUZZY LOGIC CONTROLLER DESIGN FOR SMART HOME SYSTEMS

Abstract

Fuzzy logic control, which is a widespread using control method, has been developed recent years. It target to transform verbal expression to mathematical expressions or algorithms. There are a lot of applications or workings in literature on fuzzy logic, which are contender PID or MPC (Model Predictive Control). Some results are more successful; and their design duration or design costs are lower than PID. There is no significant workings on air conditioning field since recent years. It was used analogue control, it could adjust according to user command. However control theory was developed very fast, and humans comfort demands has been rising. Thus some methods applied on air conditioning for provide human comfort as automatic. These methods is known PID, MPC, artificial intelligence, genetic algorithm, fuzzy logic or other adaptive control methods. This working target to introduce of using fuzzy logic concept on smart homes
