It has been compulsory to use unusual machining methods, against the developments in the manufacturing sector. The Abrasive Water Jet (AWJ) method is the least known and common one. Unknown aspects of the method makes limited use. The AWJ method shows various surface roughness values depend on the cutting depth although capable of cutting all kinds of materials. So that caused to adversely affected the widespread use of the method. The cutting front geometry consists to opposite direction of the feeding is another negative ways beside on the adversely effects on the cut surface properties on workpiece. In this study, the modelling of cutting front geometry was considered to provide a positive impact on expand the usability of AWJ methods. The aluminum alloys were used as workpiece regarding an uneasy machining material for AWJ and the experimental results were evaluated.
