Hanehalkında atık gıda ölçümünde kullanılan yöntemlerin sınıflandırılması

Abstract

Amaç – Bu araştırmanın amacı hanehalkı atık gıda ölçümünde kullanılan yöntemleri bir çatı altında sunmak ve gelecek araştırmalar için veri toplama yöntemlerine göre verilecek kararları bütüncül bir şekilde tartışmaktır.
Tasarım/metodoloji/yaklaşım – Araştırma, hanehalkında atık gıda ölçümünde kullanılan yöntemleri literatür taramasından yola çıkarak kavramsal olarak sınıflandırmıştır.
Bulgular – Hanehalkında atık gıda ölçümü yaparken kullanılan veri toplama yöntemleri dört kategoride sınıflandırılabilir: (i) Kişisel beyan (ii) Atık ayrıştırma/atık denetimi (iii) Gözlem ve (iv) Karma.
Araştırma sınırlamaları – Araştırma hanehalkında atık gıda ölçümünde kullanılan yöntemleri sadece kavramsal olarak sınırlandırmış olup uygulama içermemektedir.
Sosyal/Ekonomik/Sektörel etkiler – Gelecekteki araştırmacılar, veri toplama sürecine yönelik sunulan araştırma tasarımı kararlarını dikkate alarak daha geçerli ve güvenilir ölçümler yapabilmesine olanak sağlamaktadır.
Özgünlük – Literatürde hanehalkında oluşan atık gıda ölçümlerinde kullanılabilecek yöntemlere dair bilgiler dağınık ve parça parçadır. Bu araştırmada veri toplama yöntemleri ve uygulama aşamaları bütüncül olarak ele alınarak gelecek araştırmalar için araştırma tasarım kararları her bir veri toplama yöntemi özelinde tartışılmıştır.
