Social Marketing in the Legitimization of Neoliberalism

Abstract

By the process that begins with Industrial Revolution, the need of differentiation was increased in the rivalry environment according to the ascending of production need. The effort for differing from the alike in the market gave rise to a new term which is “marketing”. By the globalization time period, companies had to have higher moral standards in their marketing strategies. This apprehension brought out the concepts “corporate social responsibility” and “social marketing”. This thesis’s aim is examining the process in marketing of thoughts that came up from social marketing conceptwhich composed of by the changing marketing penetration from Industrial Revolution to contemporary time period. This processes is a way to help neoliberal economy politics to increase the income in the global market
