Writing Rules

- Review studies without methodology sent to EKEV Academy Journal will not be evaluated. The studies must be prepared according to the journal template and should not exceed 25 pages.
- The manuscripts submitted to the journal must not have been previously published in another publication or must not be in the evaluation stage for publication.
- If the manuscripts have been previously presented as a paper in a congress, symposium or meeting, they may be published if deemed appropriate by the editorial board, provided that the date and place are specified. All responsibility in this regard belongs to the authors.
- Articles submitted to the journal are first reviewed by the editorial editors in the context of the Journal's Writing and Publication Principles. If there are parts that need to be corrected by the author, the article is returned to the author and asked to be corrected.
- Manuscripts that do not comply with the Journal Writing and Publication Principles are not sent to the referee and are not published.
- Manuscripts approved by the editors are sent to at least two referees through the same system. If deemed necessary, the study can be reviewed by more than two referees. The final decision on the study to be published is made by taking into account the opinion of the majority of the referees. The recommendations of the referees are meticulously followed by the editor. The journal has the right to make corrections in the submitted manuscripts, to publish or not to publish the manuscripts. The names of the author(s) and referees are kept mutually confidential.
- The author(s) may object to the negative opinions of the referees provided that they show evidence. This objection is examined and, if deemed necessary, a different referee's opinion is sought.
- All processes take place electronically.
- Information such as the author's name, title, institution, and e-mail address where the author can be reached should not be included under the title of the study. Since author names can be seen by the editor, this information will be added to the manuscript by the editor. When the manuscripts are added to the system, it should be ensured that no information belonging to the author is included in the manuscript. This is important in order to allow the referees who will review the article to move more easily.
- APA 7 rules, one of the common referencing methods in social sciences, should be used in the articles. The accuracy of the sources is the responsibility of the authors.
- It is obligatory to comply with the rules of grammar (spelling, punctuation, clarity, comprehensibility, etc.) in the works submitted to the journal. Therefore, the author is fully responsible for any problems and criticisms that may arise.
