AUTHOR GUIDE AND WRITING PRINCIPLES
 AUTHOR GUIDE (Yazar Rehberi)
• The Journal of Social Health (Sosyal Sağlık Dergisi) is an academic journal published twice a year in March and September.
• It aims to publish studies such as social work, sociology, psychology and well-being related article & books reviews and symposium assesments to share with public.
• It is accepted to evaluate research article, review article, translation and books critic types.
• It must be used APA 6 to cite and reference.
• The articles which are about to be submitted for publication, are subject to a double-blind arbitration evaluation by at least two arbitrators.
• It is also requested that the articles contain a minimum of 3 maximum of 5 keywords with a summary of 100-250 words / abstract.
• Delete the name and institutional information before uploading the article.

The following formal principles should be followed in the manuscripts sent to the journal for publication.

• Articles should be written in Turkish or English.

• The submitted manuscript must not have been previously published or submitted to any journal for consideration (or an explanation should be made in the Notes to the Editor).
• The submission file must be in Microsoft Word document file format.
• URLs of references should be given where available.
• Text; It should be submitted with 1.15 line spacing, 12 font size, in Calibri, italicized instead of underlined (except URL addresses), and all figures, pictures and tables should be placed in the appropriate parts of the text. For printing, quality copies of the pictures (in JPG or TIFF format) should be sent as an attached file.
• The title of the article should be appropriate and understandable to the content of the article. All headings should be written in bold type.
• Acknowledgments regarding the individual or institutional financial support provided for the research should be included in a separate section at the end of the article.
• Mathematical expressions should be written using the “Equation Editor”. Mathematical expressions should be numbered in parentheses.
The article should be arranged in the order given below.

a.) Abstract: The length of the abstract should be at least 100 and at most 250 words. One line space should be left between the keywords that will consist of at least three and at most five words and the abstract.

b.) Abstract: Abstract prepared in English. It should be between 100 and 250 words. There should be at least three and no more than five keywords.

c.) Main Text: The article should start with an introduction. This section should be written by considering all readers. Especially research articles should be formatted in IMRD format.

The main text can have subheadings. ( 2.1, 2.1.1.)

References – Bibliography

References should be prepared in accordance with APA 6 citation guidelines. In-text references and references should be given in accordance with the language of the full text. The principles and procedures of citing references in Turkish for the full text in Turkish, and the procedures and principles of citing references in English for the full text in English should be taken into account.

References: Calibri should be given with single line spacing, 6 nk before and after. Hanging 1.25.
Appendix **

Additional tables, figures, graphics and pictures that are not included in the main text should be given on a new page after the bibliography. For each annex, Annex 1. should be classified as Annex 2. and each annex should be titled separately.

* Discussion, Conclusion and Suggestions can be collected under a single title by the authors or they can be given separately.

** In case of Acknowledgments and Additional information, these titles should be given as the main title such as Introduction, Method.

Tables and Figures

Table and Figure title and text properties should be given considering the structure in the examples in the template.
